Feedstock comes first

Ask whether the feedstock is sawmill sawdust, chips, mixed offcuts or agricultural residue. The receiving particle size determines whether a primary crusher and hammer mill are both required.

Drying and line balance

Request moisture measurements across seasons. Size the dryer by water evaporation and the pellet mill by usable dry feed, not by the same headline throughput.

Export pellet specifications

Agree pellet diameter, moisture, fines and any buyer-required fuel standard separately. Equipment supply does not establish certification of the finished pellet.
